How can you trust an Insurance company?
The concept of Insurance is a great idea. Everyone need insurance of some type. Unfortunately ther are a lot of scams that permeate the insurance industry. I can understand that the bottom line of any business not just the insurance business, is to make money. What is deploralbe is the underhanded methods that some companies use that affect people who really need a specific type of coverage like Life or Health insurance.
Advertising to a group of desperate people with deceptive tacticts is unforgivable. There is an advertisement that is being faxed to individuals and businesses that states :
"enroll in our health program for $89 per month. Pre-existing conditions accepted. Prescriptions,Vision ,Hearing Dental. You will never be singled out for a rate increase or cancelled." and a host of other benefits. Study the actual ad for a couple of minutes because you will be asked a question.
There are no less than 9 indicators of deception in this ad. The question is Whats the con? How is this ad going to cost you money? Answer: This is a "Call me scam". See dictionary or Your CD for the other 8 indicators of deception.
Now,why does this scam work. Most likely you took the time to analyze this ad because you are on your toes and were looking for deception. That's the point of this site. The average consumer is not stupid. They are always to busy and cant see the forest because of the trees. It is a fact that the human being will not hear what is said nor read what is written. All individuals guess at writing or subconsciously fill in the blanks especially when in a hurry. Thats what these scumbags are counting on. A desperate person will see and hear what the subconscious tell them to see or hear. Prove it to yourself.
